Paul B. Scaffidi - President

Paul brings over 25 years of sales, management, consulting, training and coaching experience to individuals and corporations throughout the world. As a Corporate Executive, he held positions as Vice President of
US Sales for Sprint Corporation
and Vice President of National Sales for Cable & Wireless Communications where he had direct responsibility for sales, sales training, and sales operations. Paul has been an entrepreneur, sales advisor, strategic coach, trainer and speaker for many leading companies in high tech, financial services, industrial and the health industries.  Paul is an alumnus of the University of Connecticut where he majored in Business and was a three year letterman on the UCONN football team.

Bill Daniels- Managing Partner

Bill brings over 30 years of diverse experience designing, building and implementing complex networks and communications systems. He has been a leader in building technical teams since the 1982 and has held the positions of Director of National Systems Engineering for Telenet Communications, Regional Vice President, National Design Center for SBC Communications and most recently Group Manager, Network Design & Consulting with AT&T. Bill holds advanced degrees in electrical engineering and computer science. His duties include reviewing existing networking architecture, conducting feasibility studies to determine requirements for bandwidth, security, reliability, redundancy, and documenting physical network and equipment requirements on a site by site basis.  Review potential customers existing contracts and develop a detailed pricing analysis which includes equipment pricing, cost of ownership, and technology refresh cycles.    Provide detailed network proposals including access bandwidth and site equipment requirements to meet the customer’s price/performance goals.  Provide financial analysis to determine benefits of managed versus non-managed solutions for customer applications.  Develop network design strategies to help achieve revenue goals for supported market segments.  Assist sales teams in developing design strategies to convert existing customers from the legacy SBC networking products to AT&T network offerings.

Jason Wright - Director of Operations and College Recruiting

Joined the Performance Systems team in 2007.  Jason will be a primary contributor to PSA’s college recruiting program.  A specialist in operations, he will play a substantial role in the management of the back-office as well as providing marketing support for PSA and its clients.  He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering with a focus in Management and Economics from the University of Virginia, where he also minored in Business with a focus in Marketing.  A two time football letterman at UVA, Jason brings to PSA the various skills he learned through the rigors of college athletics:  dedication, discipline and a strong desire to succeed.

Andrew R. Candreva, Ph.D.

Dr. Candreva has spent over 18 years in the high technology industry both domestically and internationally in senior management and executive positions. He built, directed and led sales, marketing, professional services, education and training, and engineering organizations for such companies as McDonnell Douglas, NYNEX, Sprint, Cable & Wireless, and Sterling Software (based in London, England).  Dr. Candreva holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a Master’s in International Business and received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Education.  He has also personally designed and developed over 300 tailored and customized management, executive, sales and team development educational programs that he has delivered to over 50,000 professionals from 72 countries, conducting these programs in 33 countries on five continents.  Dr. Candreva has helped many corporations design, build, and manage corporate universities. He has also conducted over 100 focus groups with senior management and executives both domestically and internationally assisting Fortune 1500 companies in creating their strategic direction/vision and developing their business strategies and tactical plans for execution. Dr. Candreva has also coached, mentored, and assisted hundreds of C-level executives with their ongoing desire for professional development.

Barton Briggs - Managing Director - Technology

Barton C. Briggs has over 20 years experience in systems engineering and management in the leading technology areas of the networking, computing and telecommunications fields. Bart's career included impressive tenures at major companies including Sun MicroSystems, Digital Equipment Corporation and Motorola. He has fulfilled business development and technical advisory roles at an array of early-stage companies, including Newbridge Networks and GTE Telenet Communications. Mr. Briggs has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from Boston University. He was Motorola Corporation appointed liaison to the ANSI Standards board.
